Hawaii/ Personal Narrative

As we are driving back from a cool sight called the "blowhole" which is pretty much a hole in the ground and a underwater cave underneath it which shoots water up after a wave comes in, we had to drive through the windy roads of the Hawaiian mountains where we see these two little dogs running up the steep, twisty mountain roads. We pulled over because it was the time of the day where there was a lot of traffic from the tourists because we were in a big surfing area. Luckily the dogs came running towards us and they were the two nicest dogs ever. We were happy that we saved them from the oncoming cars but now we needed to find there owner or wear they came from. This was just the start of the crazy day in Hawaii.

I woke up exhausted from the day before because I went 24 hours without sleeping because of a fishing trip which went from 10 P.M. that night to noon the next day. We ended up with about 30 fish. 24 of them were blue fin tuna and the other 6 were Mahi-Mahi. Now back to the dogs. One of the dogs had a collar on him but all it had on it was 6 numbers. We called the animal hospital and asked them if they knew anything about the numbers and sure enough it was the dogs numbers to show it had its rabies shots. Because of that number they got the owners address and phone number on the dogs information. We called the owner and we found out she was looking for the dogs. So we brought them back to the rightful owner and was very thankful for looking out for them.

In the end the dogs were safe and sound back where they belong at their owners house. When we got back into town and were driving on the main road I felt something wet hit my head. I looked up and it was clear blue skies.I looked in the reflection of my phone and saw this white and black stuff. At that moment I realized it was bird poop. After doing that nice thing for the dogs you would think something good could happen. But I guess me and that bird just have something against each other.
